News Filter: Soloing LotRO's Epic Quests

  • By way of Ravious at Kill Ten Rats, we get a blog post from Orion on the Lord Of The Rings Online site announcing that the Volume One epic quests will gain a solo option.

  • I think at some point, I mentioned that this was the very thing that would get me to try out LotRO again. I enjoyed the game, but I was always annoyed that I could not participate in the main story just because I didn't play in a group. Well, it sounds like Turbine feels the same way.

  • So, I may be playing LotRO come December 1. Who would have thought?

  1. I might see you there, cause I have been thinking of resubbing again too. I'm not against grouping, I just tend to play solo a lot. Although if you and I are on the same server, then we will have to group!!!!

My major beef with LOTRO has been the questing, too many group quests and too many collection type quests. Gets boring after awhile.

  2. Look forward to seeing what you think of all the changes that have been made to the game.

If you guys was starting new characters, come on over to Landroval.

  3. I have a Warden on Landroval, and might transfer my Champions over there if I do resub.

  4. @ Jayedub - I'm unsure whether I'll continue with my level 40 Warden or starting over with a new level 1 Warden. Either way, I'm absolutely playing a warden. That is a great class.

@ Blue Kae - I'll be sure to let you know how it goes. Landroval, huh?

There's also a podcaster/blogger/fan kinship on Brandywine called Cor Pethroni run by the guys from LOTRO Reporter.
