- The final tally in the Read ID thread is 49895 posts over 2495 pages. In the end, Blizzard came around and will not be implementing real name requirements for the forums.
- Whatever it is that caused them to step back from this precipice (forums, general internet uproar, or someone coming to their senses), they made the right decision. And just in time too. All this crap has diverted us from talking about the good WoW news.

ReplyDeleteIn a comment on your last post, I speculated how Blizz might retract their decision because of the backlash. I'm happy they finally came to their sense, shows they're still at least willing to heed player feedback.
