- Tiny rant here. It will be over soon.
- I'm so glad to see that my single player game can be stolen if someone takes over my account. It's a good thing that I have an authenticator to make it harder for people to hack their way into my single player game. Good job, Blizzard.
- That is all. Carry on.

Wow. Ironic that something intended to stop piracy and cheating hasn't protected users from real piracy.
ReplyDeleteThis is making me tear my hear out. There is a freaking latency meter on the bar. A latency meter in my single player game! Jeez.
DeleteYeah... because when I am able to log onto my account just fine, but find my characters have been wiped, I immediately think "hacked" and not "database related bug."
ReplyDeleteNot that it being a bug makes it any better, but the MO for hacked Blizzard accounts usually comes with the perp attaching their own authenticator to it and locking you out of your account.
I think this "authenticator not working" thing is coming from the battle.net update that only hits you up for the authenticator when your IP address changes. Since launch, I have only had to enter it a couple of times... which matches up with how WoW behaves these days.
THIS IS NOT A TIME FOR RATIONAL THOUGHT, WILHELM! RAGE!!!!!!
